This week, VPR and received the regulatory approvals needed to proceed with the intended . The FCC has granted permission for the license transfer, and the IRS has granted tax-exempt status, clearing the way for the new organization to launch in July 2021.

Vermont PBS and VPR will continue to operate independently until July. Over the next several months, they will focus on organizational design and systems integration to stand up the new organization.
