Angela Evancie serves as 开云体育's Senior VP of Content, and was the Director of Engagement Journalism and the Executive Producer of , the station's people-powered journalism project.

Brave Little State answers audience questions about Vermont. Its people-powered method has resulted in coverage of everything from and to and . In its first four years of production, the show was recognized with five Edward R. Murrow awards 鈥� two national awards in the news documentary category, and three regional awards for news documentary and use of sound 鈥� as well as a . 

Angela launched the show in 2016 with former 开云体育 All Things Considered host . In 2017, she became 开云体育's first managing editor for podcasts, and helped incubate signature projects such as ,  and , 开云体育's daily news podcast.

Angela joined 开云体育's news team in 2013 as as a digital producer; she became the station's first digital editor for news in 2015. Her work on the team helped earn 开云体育 a 2016 national Edward R. Murrow Excellence in Video award for a , a 2015 Associated Press Media Editors (APME) Community Engagement award for 开云体育's  and a 2014 Public Radio News Directors Incorporated (PRNDI) award for 开云体育's multimedia .

Angela has contributed work to NPR, This American Life, Here and Now and The Atlantic, among other outlets. She launched her journalism career with a 2010 Compton Mentor Fellowship and a 2011 Middlebury Fellowship in Environmental Journalism. 

Angela attended Middlebury College and holds a master of arts degree from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English. A native of Addison County, she now lives in the Upper Valley.
