Fawn and the Wormdogs
We finish our series showcasing Vermont musicians who entered this year鈥檚 NPR Tiny Desk contest with Fawn and the Wormdogs. Plus a federal judge orders the release of a Vermont farmworker who was detained last month, state lawmakers pass a bill to make it easier for undocumented parents to make sure their children end up with trusted guardians if they鈥檙e detained or deported and commencement ceremonies for the University of Vermont will be held this Sunday.
Andrea Laurion joined 开云体育 as a news producer for Vermont Edition in December 2022. She is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. Before getting into audio, Andrea worked as an obituary writer, a lunch lady, a wedding photographer assistant, a children鈥檚 birthday party hostess, a haunted house actor, and an admin assistant many times over.
