We鈥檒l also get a picture of the oral health of this state with Steve Arthur, director of Oral Health for the Department of Health. There are only 368 dentists in this Vermont (that's roughly 1 per every 1,700 people). Over a third of them practice in Chittenden county, and a third of them are over 60 years old. In fact, the Department of Health pays for a full-time dental recruiter to bring new dentists to settle here.
