The 4th Of July: 'Reveal' & 'The Capitol Steps'

Bill Hurd, Capitol Steps Press Secretary

Happy Independence Day! Vermont Edition has the day off and returns Monday: today at noon listen to Reveal  and at 7 p.m. enjoy the Capitol Steps' hour-long special, .

, is "for anyone who is interested in stories that break news and change our understanding of how the world works. Reveal examines what governments, businesses and communities are doing behind the scenes, hidden from public view".

The Capitol Steps, on the other hand, will address timely issues set to show tunes, like John Kerry singing, "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Crimea?" and Hillary Clinton admonishing Joe Biden to "Let It Go" when it comes to running for President. It's a show so clogged with jokes that Chris Christie threatened to shut it down!

Listen at noon and 7 p.m. on VPR.
