A bill has passed the Vermont House that would raise the smoking age to 21.

You can vote and serve in the military at age 18, but you have to wait until 21 to drink alcohol.

A bill that passed the Vermont House last week would raise the smoking age to 21 over a period of three years.

We hear from Northfield Representative Anne Donahue and Jericho Representative George Till who will discuss both sides of the bill.

Also on the program, the role of guns acquired in Vermont being used in New York crime has become a talking point in the presidential election. We'll check in on the facts with John Roman, a senior fellow in the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute think tank.

Plus we hear the latest edition of with music from Paper Castles.

Broadcast live on Wed., April 13, 2016, at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
