Stinging nettles can be harvested and eaten if you're careful! We're talking with experts about gathering wild edibles.

Spring is when a Vermonter's fancy lightly turns to ramps. Also fiddleheads, nettles and more. We're getting tips on foraging for edibles in the great outdoors, and how to do it in a sustainable way. 

We're joined by longtime expert food gatherers . 

Plus, ! We learn how to grow shiitake mushrooms with some love and some logs, from shiitake farmer Nick Laskovski of in Waitsfield.
