AARP argues that the project鈥檚 cost overruns make the pipeline a bad deal for ratepayers and illustrate the need for regulatory changes. Vermont Gas Systems says the pipeline answers demand for natural gas in the western part of the state, and will be an economic benefit to Addison County.
