Can eating less meat save the atmosphere? "Vermont Edition" looks at how changes in the food system can affect climate change.

The recent called on people to consume fewer animal products as a method of reducing greenhouse gases. Vermont Edition looks at how the food choices we make affect the emissions we create.
We'll speak with , a UVM professor in the department of nutrition and food sciences in the Food Systems Program, about how production, processing and consumption of foods can affect the earth's climate. She was one of the authors of a recent .

Plus we'll hear from co-founder and co-director Seth Itzkan on methods livestock farmers can adopt to positively affect the atmosphere.
