A Guide To Vermont's Architecture And Iconic Buildings

Vermont is home to some truly incredible buildings, from one-room schoolhouses and churches to ornate libraries and universities. We're talking about the architectural styles and influences found in the state and some of the most noteworthy structures in Vermont's architectural heritage.

Devin Colman, the state architectural historian for the , joins the program to offer a primer of architectural styles in Vermont and examples of each that we can still see today.

And Britta Tonn, an architectural historian and preservation planner at engineering and design firm in South Burlington, helps highlight important buildings and explains how these structures share the history and culture of each community.
