Vermonters Connect To Nature Through Citizen Science

Wednesday marks the 50th annual Earth Day, and what better way to celebrate than with a (socially distanced) citizen science activity the whole family can enjoy? This hour, we learn about several nature-focused science initiatives across the state, including the and , and we also hear from you.

Our guests are:

  • Woodstock-based conservation biologist, photographer, writer, naturalist, co-founder of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, and co-host of Outdoor Radio on VPR
  • Montpelier-based writer, biologist, and “boy explorerâ€�

Jane Lindholm is the host, executive producer and creator of But Why: A Podcast For Curious Kids. In addition to her work on our international kids show, she produces special projects for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý. Until March 2021, she was host and editor of the award-winning ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý program Vermont Edition.
Lydia worked for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Radio and Vermont PBS from 2019 until 2022.
