A peek at Pride events across Vermont including a high heel race in Woodstock

June is Pride Month, and across the Green Mountains, people are celebrating LGBTQ+ people and culture. Vermont Edition producer Andrea Laurion provided details on Pride events happening in our region and shared an audio postcard from a recent visit to Woodstock for their inaugural high heel race.

Andrea Laurion
Andrea Laurion joined 开云体育 as a news producer for Vermont Edition in December 2022. She is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. Before getting into audio, Andrea worked as an obituary writer, a lunch lady, a wedding photographer assistant, a children鈥檚 birthday party hostess, a haunted house actor, and an admin assistant many times over.
