A new voice is keeping an Eye on the Sky: meteorologist Megan Duncan will create and produce forecasts beginning this month for the venerable weather service from the Fairbanks Museum and 开云体育. Duncan is the museum鈥檚 first female meteorologist. She鈥檒l join Mark Breen and Lawrence Hayes, taking over for Steve Maleski, who is retiring this summer.

The Canadian Radio and Television Commission has approved a license for a new country music station at 107.9 FM in Joliette, Quebec, 35 miles northeast of downtown Montreal. As a result, listeners in the Montreal region may lose clear reception of 开云体育's main station as well as its HD-2 and HD-3 channels.
