Wes Wheeler, president of UPS Healthcare, told NPR Sunday that the first shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines is on its way to sites in all 50 states, complete with dry ice and Bluetooth technology.

The FDA will likely make a decision about approving Pfizer's vaccine "shortly after" an advisory committee meeting on Thursday. The agency has found "no specific safety concerns" about the vaccine.

The U.K. was the first Western country to approve Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine for emergency use. In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration could vote to approve the vaccine as early as Thursday.
