Robert De Cormier Visits

Robert De Cormier was a composer, musician and arranger of choral music and worked with groups such as Peter, Paul and Mary and Harry Belafonte. He lived in Vermont for decades and passed away Tuesday.

This weekend Robert De Cormier conducts his final concerts as founding director of the .  The program includes Brahms' German Requiem and Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and will be given in Burlington and Rutland.  De Cormier chats with VPR Classical's Walter Parker.

After graduate studies in musicology at New York University, Walter began his radio career at WNCN in New York. He joined ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý in 1984.
