VPR Classical鈥檚 monthly features student composers in our region, and is produced in collaboration with 鈥檚 online mentoring program. This September we鈥檒l meet Anna Scoppettone, who is entering her senior year at Montpelier High School.

In addition to having a busy senior year ahead, Anna makes time to advocate for the arts in her local school board meetings. "When they think of budget cuts, music the first thing to go. I put that frustration from that issue into my music, and I really want people to take away that the arts are important, and music is so important in kids lives."
