Sam Beste is an 8th grader at Edmund鈥檚 Middle School in Burlington, and April's on VPR Classical.Sam started writing music when he was in 4th grade, after hearing a school announcement for Music-COMP鈥檚 composition classes.
Sam's piece The River was performed in a local concert featuring UVM music education students. The concert was held on December 11, 2015 with musicians Ryan Spooner, violin; Matt LaRocca, viola; Michael Hakim, cello.
