Each school year, thousands of Vermont students read the books nominated for the . Thirty books make the annual list, and fourth through eighth graders vote for their favorite title in the spring.
This school year, will be taking a closer look at some of the books on the Dorothy Canfield Fisher list in a new segment called . We鈥檒l visit schools and libraries around Vermont to hear what kids have to say about the books. We鈥檒l also speak with the authors 鈥� and let the kids ask the questions. begins Monday, October 7 on . We'll listen in as students from U-32 Middle School in Montpelier discuss S.S. Taylor's The Expeditioners and the Treasure of Drowned Man's Canyon. We'll hear from Vermont author S.S. Taylor about her story, characters, and what adventures lie ahead as The Expeditioners series continues.
