Anne-Lee Verville is the chairwoman of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Board of Trustees. She will also co-chair the committee to find Weinstein's replacement.
Next week, a search firm working with the board will be talking to nurses, former trustees, professors at the Geisel School of Medicine and other members of the community to create a job description.
Verville told VPR they'll be asked: “What do you think we should be looking for in the new candidate? What are the characteristics that we want to find in this new CEO?�
The search for Weinstein's replacement will be nationwide, but will also consider internal candidates.
