Also of note:
Altria, among the world's largest tobacco companies, contributed at least $17,580 to Republican candidates and causes.
Pharmacies and Pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly, Merck, CVS and Walgreens contributed at least a combined $37,200, almost entirely to Republican candidates and causes.
Telecommunications companies, including Dish Network, Comcast, and AT&T contributed at least a combined $22,000 to candidates and causes from both parties.
The total amount of campaign contributions reported to the Secretary of State's office by October 15 , 2018 was $5,099,996.
